A double win!

Planning permission has been granted for the regeneration of  St Martin’s Park in Stamford. fabrik have been working on the two of the three land parcels that form part of the proposals as part of a joint venture between Inspired Villages, Burghley Land and Morris Homes.

The project aims to regenerate the former Cummins factory site, located between Stamford Town and the Burghley Estate. Building on the outline masterplan created by ADAM Architecture, we developed detailed proposals for both the commercial area (with Burghley Land and ADAM Architecture) and the mixed use area centred round a retirement village (with Inspired Villages and Urban Edge).

Working across both parcels enabled us to create a cohesive design, carefully integrating these important mixed uses. Key landscape spaces include a new village green and a town square. Material selection reflects the stone colours that are so characteristic of the centre of Stamford.

It’s been great to be part of such a collaborative team effort to deliver this important project.
