Firstly, we are proud to share that Northlands View, Corringham, has been granted planning permission. We provided masterplanning, landscape planning, landscape design and arboricultural advice for the proposal, which comprises approximately 300 homes and a care facility, on behalf of Telescope Property Group. This Grey Belt scheme also includes the delivery of 50% affordable housing for the local community. The neighbourhood is designed to be aspirational, making efficient use of land while enhancing biodiversity net gain and overall landscape quality – features that will remain publicly accessible.

Secondly, Chelmsford City Council’s Planning Committee unanimously resolved to grant planning permission for Halley Developments’ proposals for 1,250 new homes at Zone 3 of Chelmsford Garden Community, alongside detailed approval for the Northern Radial Distributor Road. We are proud to have been part of the landscape-led vision, where a connected network of parks, green infrastructure, and multifunctional open spaces have formed the backbone of the new development. The proposals prioritise high-quality public realm, biodiversity enhancement, sustainable drainage, and active travel, ensuring landscape plays a central role in everyday life while supporting strategic infrastructure delivery.

These two milestones reflect years of collaboration across the client and consultant teams. A long and hard process made a lot easier by the experience and professionalism of all involved. We’re excited to move forward to the next stages of both projects and to continue shaping these exciting new places for Essex.
Well done to all involved!
