Gascoigne West Phase 2 has another award to add to its growing collection, this time the AJ Architecture Award for housing projects over £50 million.
The placemaking strategy promotes shared amenities and connectivity, aligning with the 15-minute neighbourhood concept and the generosity and ‘Scandinavian-feel’ of the public realm wowed the judges.
“It’s very well stitched into the fabric of its surroundings” said one judge. “It feels well-considered as a home, a neighbourhood and a piece of the city” they remarked.
