Following our successful working relationship with Anthology across London, we were excited to support them with their first later living scheme following their rebrand as Pegasus Homes. From early 2021 we have been working with Powell Dobson Architects to deliver 73 apartments  as part of the wider redevelopment of a former Ministry of Defence site named Broadoaks in Surrey.

The scheme benefits from established tree belts to its boundaries and provides a rich landscape setting, which allows residents to explore the grounds. Key spaces include formal and informal gardens, growing gardens, wildflower meadows and a woodland garden leading to a retained model dairy.

The development provides two new blocks with a central arrival space. Formal landscape extends from the entrance, through the space and into the garden beyond, providing a connection with the residents’ lounge to create an inside-outside area for events.  Our approach to the main spaces is to create gardens as an extension of residents’ new homes, replacing  those which they have sacrificed when choosing to move to a later living development.

Feedback from the sales team is that the grounds have been the key selling point, with many new residents ensuring a growing garden as part of the deal.
