Haoyue Zhang

Haoyue recently graduated from the University of Sheffield and hash a strong interest in placemaking and community-focused design. She is passionate about creating inclusive and thoughtful public spaces that respond to people, nature and context. Her work focuses on early-stage concept development, through illustrative and visual storytelling approaches. Haoyue uses a combination of hand drawing and digital tools to explore ideas, test spatial concepts and communicate design intent clearly. She is particularly interested in how early design thinking can shape meaningful spatial experiences and respond to both social and environmental contexts. Curious and collaborative, she enjoys working as part of a team and contributing to design processes that create engaging and well-considered environments.
