Josie Pearson

Josie is a student landscape architect, currently undertaking her Year in Practice as part of her MLA at the University of Sheffield. With a background in gardening, she has developed a strong interest in planting design, particularly how vegetation can contribute to climate resilience, biodiversity and community wellbeing. Her academic work has explored how ecological succession and innovative planting strategies can shape dynamic, resilient public spaces. She has a particular interest in designing community-focused, inclusive landscapes that support wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging.
