Leyla Moy

With a background in human geography and varied editorial experience, Leyla came to urban design through a keen interest in the intangible elements of urban space which shape our day-to-day lives. Following her urban design education and experience as a town planner, she joined fabrik with an aspiration to shape vibrant, resilient places. Throughout her career, Leyla has enjoyed working in multi-disciplinary teams and using writing as a tool to get to the human interest at the core of a project. Drawing on her time as a planner, her approach balances creativity with an understanding of planning and site constraints. Leyla is also on the editorial board of the Academy of Urbanism Here & Now Journal and enjoys writing that explores the significance of place in people’s stories and lives.
