Mark Bell

Mark is a Chartered Landscape Architect with over 20 years’ experience in the field. His portfolio embraces a wide range of sectors, including residential, public realm, transport infrastructure and hospitality. Much of his career has been spent working within multi-disciplinary studios. His work is delivered through iterative and open communication, and he believes strongly that environments of excellence are born out of energetic design discourse and intellectual interrogation, it is a philosophy that he deploys liberally as one of the Board Directors jointly responsible for the management of the Landscape Design workstream. Much of Mark’s recent work has been in urban estate renewal and he has developed a keen understanding of the tensions within the sector.  Community participation to enhance the design of homes and new places, and democratising open space are principal motivations in his work.
