Yoanna Mutafova

Yoanna recently completed a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture and specialises in landscape planning and the visual impact of new development. She focuses on understanding the relationship between development, landscape character and visual context, alongside the role of sustainable and climate-responsive approaches within the planning process. Yoanna is particularly interested in how landscape and visual considerations influence development proposals, including the integration of green infrastructure, environmental considerations and the wider relationship between the built environment and the landscape. Prior to studying Landscape Architecture, she completed a degree in Interior Architecture, which has contributed to a broader understanding of spatial design and the relationship between people and place.
