Sunshine through the clouds

We are pleased to share our work on Clouds Hill Farm, Oxshott, which recently secured resolution to grant.

fabrik prepared both the Landscape Design Statement and the Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) to support a landscape-led vision for a new neighbourhood on the edge of Oxshott. The proposals have been shaped by a detailed understanding of the site’s landscape character, visual context and environmental sensitivities, helping to ensure the scheme responds carefully to its woodland-edge setting and surrounding residential context.

The landscape strategy retains and enhances existing trees, hedgerows and woodland edges, while introducing a connected network of green streets, pocket parks, play spaces, SuDS features and a strong central open space.

A key part of the scheme is the integration of a 12.9-hectare Suitable Alternative Natural Greenspace, creating generous accessible natural open space for recreation and biodiversity, and helping to root the development in its wider countryside setting.
